Refund policy

Please choose carefully when making your purchase. The Sound Store does not offer refunds for change of mind, including purchases made as gifts.
We are happy to offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion, provided the item is returned in its original, as-purchased condition. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and include all original packaging, accessories, and manuals. Proof of purchase must be provided for all exchanges or store credits.
If a product is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. All faulty goods are required to be assessed before a remedy can be offered. As part of this process, faulty items will be sent to an Authorised Service Agent for inspection.
Once the assessment has been completed, an appropriate remedy will be provided in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act. Depending on the nature of the fault, this may include repair, replacement, or refund.
We reserve the right to decline a return or exchange where the product shows signs of misuse, incorrect installation, accidental damage, unauthorised modification or repair, or normal wear and tear.
To arrange a return, exchange, or assessment of faulty goods, please contact us or visit our physical store with your proof of purchase. We recommend contacting us prior to returning any items to ensure the process is handled as smoothly as possible.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
